A bit about Darren…
Darren is a passionate educational therapist and academic coach committed not only to improving a student's grade and grasp of the material, but also co-developing an approach to learning that can fuel his students’ success in the future.
He has over 20 years of experience in the education industry, focusing on math, sciences, and executive functioning. AND he does so much more!*
*Darren is a father to two young kids who have immensely shaped his approach to education, learning, and radical empathy.
Darren is an improviser who has performed and taught improv in the Los Angeles area for over 20 years. He even ran and operated his own improv theater with his wife.
Why is this important? Darren leverages core principles of improv in his work with students, incorporating active listening, empathy, co-creation, and most importantly having fun.
Also he’s really funny. Like…really funny.
